How to Navigate Auto Grades and Compare Car Safety Ratings

In this video, Norma explains to Alexa how to easily compare car safety ratings by using Auto Grades.

Alexa: So, Norma, as you know, I am in the market for a new vehicle and I have three cars in mind. And going on your website, I’d like to know a little bit more in-depth about how safe are they and what’s your grade. Walk me through the process of how I can use your site for that.

Norma: Sure. Well, I’m very glad that you have something in mind because our site is perfectly designed for comparisons. So essentially, when you go on our site, you start with a make, model, year of a vehicle. Once that Auto Grade comes up, say for example you’re considering a car that comes up with a B plus, overall, we have the option of a personalized grade. That means that, how old again are you?

Alexa: I’m 25.

Norma: Oh, perfect. So, we have Auto Grades for women under 30 and so on this right hand side of our screen, you’ll see a personalized Auto Grade. And you put in your gender and your age and hit Compare and on the next screen, you’ll get the whole list of Auto Grades, depending on the age and your age group, will be highlighted. And then, you have the option to put another vehicle in, to compare. Just like you might when you’re shopping on like an advertising website like Kelley Blue Book or Edmunds or cars.com. We have the capability of stacking them up in columns and you can see how the ages differ, like the gender and the age.

Alexa: Well, that’s very helpful.

Norma: I hope so.
